iPod blak

Long story short, I just replaced with the 30GB iPod. Sure, it's pretty looking, but I was a big fan of using Napster's monthly service. I really don't like iTunes, though. And I've never really been so hot on buying .99 songs that are recorded at 128kbps. You have people that go to the studio to master the sound quality, and now a huge portion of the music people listen to is compressed. If I'm going to buy a song, I want the option to own the full-quality version, you know? Same goes for full seasons of TV shows -- I can't believe the price full "box sets" are going for on iTunes when they're so much lower quality.

Why must the days of fiber optic networks and seemingly unlimited storage capacities be so far away...
